Pizza, bean burrito, chips and salsa, wheat thins, cookies, Mary Rose’s home fries, green enchiladas, etc. I only bring this up for I totally have the hankering for potato chips with sour cream and onion dip right now. They have sour cream and small bags of potato chips here. But alas, I have not seen anything that I could mix into the sour cream. The hunt continues… As you may have noticed from previous posts, I have not had that great of an experience at school thus far. Through responses to my writings, I have come to realize that I may have given a bad impression of Kate, the English teacher. Continue reading Hiking We have chickens on our property. About 15 full size chickens and two different sets of chicks. The youngest ones have been getting picked off by, what I presume to be, a chicken hawk during the past week. On Sunday I was outside at two different times studying and the damn hawk swooped down and nabbed a chicken right in front of me. Both times. On Saturday I counted the chicks and there were 7. As of today, 4. Rostom has sat in the yard with his shotgun a couple times, but has yet to see it to take a shot. Maybe I should sit out there and be the bait. It seems to have worked so far. I got a bit more than I bargained for. Continue reading Getting more than I bargained for I wanted to let you know that I will be coming home for winter break. I do not have dates yet, but something around 12/2x through about 1/15. I will spend time in Phoenix, Tucson and Portland. I probably won’t know specifics for some time, but thought you would like to know. |
