Time to introduce you to the family. Continue reading The fam I have been in Tbilisi for about a week now but have had little access to the internet. Continue reading And I’m back I had some US dollars so I decided to cash it in for lari. Apparently, when cashing in foreign currency, the banks only take pristine condition bills. If the bill has a pen mark, a small hole, or anything else that does not meet their standards, they will not take it. This happened at two different banks, so I am pretty sure that this is common practice. I understand this requirement, but it is just frustrating as hell when over half of the money you try to exchange is rejected even though it would be accepted anywhere in the states.
