Sad, but true

Yesterday, we had a presentation about our health care coverage. The coverage is provided by some company out of Israel that supposedly covers a little over half of the population there. Anyways, the coverage is awesome. The only out of pocket expense is paying for 50% of prescriptions. Everything else is covered, up to a certain amount of course. Ambulance rides are free! I can even get a physical. You are probably asking yourself if I am really going to do that here. Oh yes I am.

It is sad that I am getting better health coverage in a third world country than I did working for AmeriCorps VISTA, i.e., the government, last year in the states.
