Luggage

Yeah, yeah. I am a little late on this one.

With a pleasant surprise, almost everyone’s luggage arrived on Friday before dinner. Well, I believe it was Friday. Everything is all a blur with every day being the same as the day before. It felt soooo good to put on clean socks and underwear. For some of us though, it was weird having a choice in what to wear. There where a few people that did not get their luggage until Sunday, but as far as I know, everyone has their luggage now.

On a related note. I am amazed at how much stuff everyone brought. We are talking two carry-ons plus two huge checked bags. Yes, this applies mostly to ladies, but guys brought a lot of stuff, too. There are no elevators in the buildings we have stayed in, so we gut to lug our luggage up 3 flights (for ladies) or 4 flights (for guys). That was a lot of fun. Actually, it was the most physical activity I have had since I have been here.

It makes me second guess what I have, or haven’t, brought. But, I would much rather have too little than too much. Plus I can get you poor saps, I mean family and friends, at home to send me stuff.
