Man, there is barely time to breathe. The daily schedule looks something like the following (in military time – get used to it):
- 0900 – breakfast
- 1000 – meet briefly and then language lessons
- 1330 – lunch
- 1430 – meet briefly and then methods or cultural classes
- 1845 – long break – go outside and wonder around
- 2000 – dinner
- 2100 – meeting (watch folk dancing, talk with other volunteers that have been here since August, trip to monastery, etc)
- 2200 – breathe, shower, card games, email, blog, ideally practicing language, getting to know people, etc
- sometime after 2300 – pass out
So if my blogs or emails do not make sense, I am blaming it on the above schedule and not the normal brain-to-fingers communication problems that I have every other day.
