As I am meeting up with more family and friends to say hello and goodbye, a lot of them seem to be making odds on whether or not I am going to find a Georgian – note, it is Georgian and not Russian – bride. Is it possible? Well, anything is possible. Is my village going to try and hook me up when they find out how old I am and that I am single? Well, it is a definite possibility. Does it have to be a Georgian lady? What about an expat? Sure, whatever works. Does it have to be someone I meet over there or would it be possible to come home and find someone in the states. Well, that has not worked out so well for me thus far, but living in Portland definitely made me feel better about my chances.

Of course, there is one important question that tops all of these. Do I even want a bride? Well, I don’t think I necessarily need to be married, but having a soul-mate would be awesome.

Whomever partakes in the pool, just remember that 10% of the winnings go to funding my next trip. Hey, I need to earn money somehow.

Just be careful if they start the matchmaking after many servings of “cha-cha”. Oh and bring me some and on ox-horn to drink it from – sounds like fun!
