Today, Jean Luc, the Poole’s first furry child, passed away. He was old, deaf, blind, allergy stricken and stubborn as hell. He had an overbite and could not keep his tongue in his mouth, no matter how often you pushed it back in. He would prance around even though his spine was severally messed [...] I am now 8 months through my year of service. That means that very soon I will need to figure out what I am doing next. My boss is trying to get me a limited duration contract so I can do more work with their online systems. I should know later this month whether it has been approved. Aside from that, no clue. Next week, my group was going to go to Nashville to a conference called Integrated Medical, Public Health, Preparedness and Response Training Summit. Now that Nashville is flooded we cannot go. If this would have happened a week later, there would have been over 2000+ professionals on hand that could have provided immediate help.
