You may or may not have heard the rumor that I am seeing someone. I am here to set the record straight. Hell has frozen over and I am seeing someone! Can you believe it?!?! Saturday, Steve and I went for hike at Silver Falls State Park which is located east of Salem. Due to a late night of partying the night before, we did not get going until 2pm. We got to the park at 3:30pm and learned that it closes at 5pm so we just did a [...] This weekend I went for a hike in the Columbia River Gorge area at a place called Eagle Creek. Taking the off ramp to Eagle Creek I immediately noticed snow along the sides of the road and it got me thinking, have I ever hiked in snow before? Well, if not, I can now [...] I have realized that I have started a tradition when it comes to x-mas. For the last two years I have been hiking on x-mas day. Two years ago I was hiking in the cloud forest in Costa Rica. Last year I was hiking with Linda in Texas. So I decided that it was my moral imperative to continue the tradition this year.
