The other day I went for a drive on the country roads and saw lots of sheep, goats, deer and cows. The most terrifying animal I encountered was a dachshund dog (aka, wiener dog) charging at me. Well, ok, not terrifying – amusing. The sight of the little dog running free on its ranch with the home nowhere in view made me laugh. Almost as if it was a native animal, minus the bright blue dog collar.
