I am in the process of learning a new programming language so I can replace an application that Linda needs. My friend Jason told me about a bunch of how-to videos that were put together to help explain all of the features of this language. The only prob is that the ranch has an internet cap on usage and these videos would probably bring us a little too close to the limit. Damn!
Then I remembered that a friend of Linda’s lives in town and she has high-speed internet. I bardered for access to her internet connection by helping her learn some stuff in excel. And oh how nice it was to have high-speed and no cap. I downloaded videos, operating system updates and applications that I have needed for some time. It tasted so sweet. I think I even had dreams about using the internet with no fear of reaching the monthly limit. It felt so liberating.
