This was my response to the manager at the oil change place when he said that I locked the keys in the car. Unfortunately, he was not. He ended up calling a locksmith to come out and open the stupid door. Last night I went out to the office and as I approached the cat food area I was startled by a sound (for it was dark out) and then saw a white and grey blur run away. I instantly knew what it was – that darn cat that we have already caught twice! I [...] AZ Central has an article about ASU, Whole Foods and Nordstroms sending their scraps to a farm in town that turns it into compost. Pretty cool. They need to create a program for all the landscapers and private residents too. Well, it took a few months, but I finally did it. I finished searching the entire ranch for poke salad annie and digging the darn things out! Up and down, back and forth, for 40 acres (about 2 football fields wide by 3 football fields long). There are now nice piles of this weed [...] I am in the process of learning a new programming language so I can replace an application that Linda needs. My friend Jason told me about a bunch of how-to videos that were put together to help explain all of the features of this language. The only prob is that the ranch has an [...] On Friday, Linda and I went to the dump. Now you might think that we were going to drop something off at the dump. Not so! That’s not how we roll in Texas! We went to the dump to get compost for her garden. The landfill is setup so all plant life is dropped [...] I have been wearing a lot of long john tops lately and have noticed that my belly button always has lint in it and it got me thinking, how the heck does the lint get into my belly button? Here is a cool video that came in second in the U@50 AARP video contest. Tilt-shift is a photography term that basically makes the portrait look like a small scale replica of the real thing, except for that it is the real thing. I saw photos using tilt-shift in a studio in downtown Phoenix during a First Friday event. The photos were of places around the valley and it was very cool to see them from this perspective.
