Some of you have told me that you cannot see the pictures that I include at the bottom of some of my posts. Well, too freaking bad. That is your fault for this means you are using Internet Explorer (IE) you bad, bad person you!
A bit harsh? Maybe. But the reason why the picture slideshows do not appear for users of IE is because IE does not follow web standards – they make up their own rules. This is why programming for the web sucks for you try to follow the standards and then you have to make exceptions for stupid IE.
Ok, I am feeling better now. I have taken a few deep breathes and I have come up with a solution for those that are stuck with using IE. First solution, if possible, get an alternative to IE!!!! ;] If you can, I would suggest you switch to Firefox or Opera. FWIW – I use Firefox.
For those that are stuck with using IE or are afraid to make the switch, I have gone back through all my Texas posts that have slideshows and updated them to include a link to view the slideshow at flickr (where my photos are stored). So now you will see something like the following in my posts that have slideshows:

If you click on the ‘or view the photos here’ link, you will be taken to flickr to be shown a large view of the slideshow. I will include this fix in all of my posts that have slideshows from now on.
