New Look

So you may have noticed that there is a new look to the site, otherwise known as a theme.  The navigation in the old theme was a bit confusing to me and, considering that I was the one that picked it, I figured it was time for a change.  I think the new theme is laid out nicer and is easier to figure out.

There is also a feature in the new theme that I think is pretty cool.  The image displayed across the top of the page is randomly selected from a list of images.  The part that I like is that I can add my own images to this list.  So I spent the last couple of days going through a lot of my photos and put together about 30 pictures that you will see as you go through the site.  All of the photos that you see were taken by me at some point over the past couple of years.

To makes these images, I had to crop them to be just a slice of the whole picture.  I have noticed that by doing so, I can actually see more detail in the photo for I am not distracted by the majority of the photo that I cut out.  Kind of cool.

I hope you enjoy the new look.  If you don’t, too bad.  But if you do find any problems, please let me know.
