For those of you who noticed Alice submitting comments correcting my chinese assumptions, you may be wondering who she is. Alice is my chinese tutor here and she is going to college studying english. She has been teaching my helpful phrases like ‘you are beautiful’, ‘what is your phone number’, etc. ;] I have been trying to teach her helpful phrases like ‘what’s up’, ‘s’up’, ‘later’, and various curse words and when to use them. ;]
Alice has been my saving grace at La La Shou because no one there speaks english and she was nice enough to go with me to be the communicator between the two sides.
So Alice, thanks for correcting all of my mistakes and making my life at work much, much easier!
