Xing Qing Gong Park

Firday morning I went to the Xing Qing Gong park in the east part of Xi’an. It looked like a huge park on the map so I decided to visit it.

The people there were mostly of the older generations and they were all doing different group activities: rollerblading, tai chi, some kind of dancing with the paper fans, martial arts, singing in groups, line dancing, badminton, playing instruments, flying kites, knitting and exercising. It was very cool to see the older crowd being physically active. I do not think we would see this very much in the states.

You said you decided to visit the park. Did you go by yourself or with others? How did you get there? City bus or ??
    Have a great week.

    In response to Dave…

I went by myself because in the end of the week I am the only person that works in the afternoon (people switched jobs and moved to mornings).

I got there by taxi – that is the primary mode of transportation for me if the place is too far. The park was about 6.5 km away.
