I got here with little problems. Well, the main problem being that I hardly slept. I got to Xi’an at around noon on Saturday and was able to stay up until about 9pm. Then I crashed hard and slept until about 6am. So far, jet lag has not been a prob.
I have already walked around the city a lot and can say, with certainty, that the only white people in Xi’an are the ones working for CCS. We get lots of stares – the females with the blonde hair get the most. It definately is a different feeling, not bad, just different.
Although I have only been here for 24 hours, I feel like I already have a 1000 stories to tell. Since I know that there is no way for me to blog about them all, I was a good boy and wrote a lot of stories in my journal this morning (alexa and brett – thanks for the journal!).

The pictures are great. It all looks the same and different too. How cool. What I really want to know is what stores they have inside the mall. Go look, ok? Also, have you tried the public transportation? I saw the bus in the photo. When do you start working? Keep the photos and blog coming. This is just facinating.
