I am going to be located in Xi’an, China. Xi’an is located close to the middle of China and used to be the capital city of several dynasties. I will be staying in the part of the city that is enclosed by a 15 meter thick wall which surrounded the original city during the dynasities. I am not sure how much area the wall contains. You can walk and bike across the top of the wall.
The weather in September averages a high of high-70s and gets about 4 inches of rain. I have been watching the weather for the past coupld of weeks and it has been around high-80s with 70-85% humidity. It sure is going to be different living in a place that has high humidty versus Phoenix that has none. And yes, I had to go get clothes that will survive the water.
The terra cotta warriors/soldiers is located next to Xi’an and I am hoping to go there one day.
I have not really looked into any other areas to visit mainly because I do not want to be disappointed if I do not go there. I just want to go with the flow and enjoy everything while I am there.
