In July I went to denver to visit my cousins Laurie, Dean, Nathan, Michael and Bethany. Kathy (Laurie’s sister) and her kids also dropped by for a couple of days while I was there.
The first question most people asked me when I got back was did I like the cooler weather. Well, no because it was hotter in Denver than it was in Phoenix. Actually is wasn’t bad, but it would have been nice to be cooler.
Laurie had the whole trip planned out and it was a lot of fun. Hiking in Boulder, goofy golfing, card games (of course), Ellis Park, Rocky Mountain National Park, swimming, and even a water balloon fight (Laurie – I still have the mark on my chest – just kiding!).
I had a great time and I look forward to my next visit there.
